Probably not, but there are worse things to waste money on. Personally, I hate seeing a big rim with a tiny rotor hiding behind it...Just looks awkward. So to me a brake upgrade makes sense, even if you don't go to the track.

Honestly the brakes look super unproportional right now with 13" inch in the front and a little tiny 10.5 in the rear. I wouldn't expect to get added braking performance at all, considering the 13" upgrade for the rear reuses the stock gt caliper (relocation bracket) and unvented eradispeed rotors.
I am doing it purly for looks.

that's why I dislike big SUVs that have big 20+ in rims and the little rotors, just looks funny to me.

So I went to get my alignment done the other day, they said they maxed my CC plates out and it still is barely out of spec. What the heck? I have mm CC plates and am only lowered like 1.25 inches....

I took it to a different place and the guy that did it made it even, he's a ford certified mechanic. Yayyy! He also removed the 3rd starter bolt for free. So now I can install motor mounts!!!

I swear I have crappy luck..
So I went to install my motor mounts..... got everything apart but the red and black wire that is attached to the bottom bolt... it was fused or something..... so I had to put everything back on. I put the starter back on, and connected the two wires to it. And bolted it up.
Now my car won't turn over, at all. It turns on and the electronics work
Just won't start.
Any ideas??

Yes it was the wires. They weren't tightened onto the starter enough. The bolt was finger loose. Tightened it all up and gave it a few love taps with a hammer and bam fired right up!
Have never mentioned what the final goal for my car is..
Im thinking teskid block, 302 stroker, 4v, monster cams, forged everything. Mated to a t56
Maybe a blower or maybe a N/A beast.
Anyways thats the long term goal. Right now with limited funds i wanna build the car to hold the power, manly suspension wise.
With that being said, whats next? Obviously subframe connectors... but then what?
Woot. Going to try the motor mounts once more sometime soon, my shop teacher said to cut the ground wires that fused to the motor mount bolt and splice a new connector back on. Dosent sound to hard.... hahaha.
Anyone in the houston area down to work on cars?

When i got my rims, i couldnt afford the tires at the same time so my rims sat in my room and i had to look at them every day till i could afford the tires. Very motivational though.
