He got the munchies, and stepped out for a Twinkie.

Got the H pipe connection welded at a local shop for twenty bucks, took about 2 minutes, and I's MUCH quiter now. Driving around in for a few thousand miles, I'd become accustomed to the rattling and noise, but it's much better now. Well worth twenty bucks.

Exactly. I would recommend to anyone that has this pipe, get it welded. Even if you think the clamp is tight, and you don't see any blowout around it; get it welded anyway.

I'm not sure where you guys are hearing any rattle from. But the only time I hear anything that sounds like rattle is the "trumpet" most people have complained about around 2500rpm. At idle or cruising it sounds almost as quiet in the car as it did with the stock H.

Here's a dyno run with the Pypes H and JBA's.

Compared to a run with just JBA A/B's:

The car sounds awesome! I have a video of my dyno run, but it is a huge file and I don't know how to condense it.

I just fixed a rattle, although it had nothing to do with my h-pipe, it was my slp lm hanger tapping against the frame.

Thanks! Not sure how to condense your file, I just downloaded mine straight to Putfile and google. Putfile is much easier.

To each his own on that one......... I just removed my Bassani axleback and put the stock mufflers back on with the H, and it doesn't sound like a Mercedes at all to me. Actually, sounds more like a cross between an old muscle car (metallic sounds) and an import (much higher pitched). Its not terribly loud, but the tonal quality is pretty weird, IMO.
