Does anyone have the X pipe with cat. deletes?
I recently got a cat-back exhaust system but was offered an X Pipe with cat. delete plus MILs for $318 total, installed. Four questions I'd much appreciate from anyone that has this or knows much about them: 1. Is this a good price? 2. How much louder (at low and high rpms) will my exhaust tone be? 3. Will it bring back some of that V8 rumble I'm looking for? I ask this because the exhaust I just put on seems to have, while deepened the sound, eliminated some of that rumble... 4. Is there a substantial horsepower gain/feel?
Thanks very much!!

thats JBA shorty headers, bassani xpipe, no cats, and no mufflers. The headers will change the sound slightly, and the no mufflers makes it more "un-tuned" as far as sound.
1. Its a bad price. http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gtbasx.htm You can get a stainless steele bassani xpipe with out the cats for $279 shipped BEFORE the TMS member discount (like 10% or something). And as far as MIl eliminators, I ran my car on a stock tune with out cats for 2 weeks...never had any problems.
2. No cats will make it alot louder.
3. An xpipe makes the sound a little higher pitched. Some like it...some don't. I do....an uncatted car with good mufflers sounds like an old muslce car IMO.
4. You wont gain too much from an xpipe. Maybe 10rwhp. If you remove the cats, you will lose low end torque but gain high end HP.
hope that helps.
