Off Road H Pipe

Sign me up, Brent! My question is...compared to MAC's offroad prochamber...what would the sound difference and power increase differences be between these two? I want to pick up some HP gains, but want that deep grumble I haven't been able to find. Someone with MAC's offroad prochamber above mentioned that they thought it was too raspy??? I thought MAC's prochamber was the opposite, nice and low grumble..because technically, the prochamber IS an H pipe except for the chamber at the joints..

First let me start off by saying that I have the Flowmaster axlebacks. I dont know if the combination of the chambered design of the Flows and the prochamber's design clash together and make that sound....but it drives me crazy. Maybe it would sound different with another set of mufflers...but let me tell ya, it sounds awful with the Flowmasters. I am not the only one on this board who has a similar setup and has the same complaint. I love the Flowmaster sound and I am gonna go the offroad H-pipe route to see if I can get that deep throaty signature Flowmaster sound.
I'm not sure if the Prochamber is an H-pipe design, because I think the flow paths actually cross each other. You do gain some power from the Prochamber though, I definitely could feel that. But I would rather have a couple less ponies than sound like a rice rocket.
Again, I am not knocking MAC's Prochamber....I bet it sounds killer with a different axleback setup, but with the Flowmasters it sounds like a old farm truck with a set of those glass pack muffers from the 70's.
$179 sounds like a great deal if I lived in the States. But living in Canada, I have to worry about the $ exchange, shipping, and customs. I'd be looking at close to $400 and that's not a great of a deal for me. I'll wait till the auto parts dealer I do business with gets them. Until then, I'll make do with what I have. Have a friend who dropped off his Bassani Axle Backs that I'm gonna try out with my custom H pipe. I'll try to post both video clips for the Flowmaster and Bassani mufflers.
I would be interested Brent!

OK I have secured a manufacturer for a direct bolt in 2005/06 GT Off Road H pipe. This H pipe will be offered exclusively through us if we decide to move forward with it. Full 2.5" manderal bent design made of high quality aluminized steel. This will be made in the USA by a company that already makes Mustang mufflers, X-pipes, headers, etc....
The question I have is what would the consumer be willing to pay for this part?
$179 shipped???
For those of you who have tried an X-pipe and did not like the sound with your mufflers and think this price is not that bad. You will keep that deep muscle car sound.
OK let me know what you think.

I should have the proto-type in less than two weeks. It is already in the works. The day it arrives I will install it to confirm fit and function then I will give the OK for production. At that point it will take around two weeks to get our first order. Looks like maybe the 3rd week of October I will have them in stock to ship.
Yes this will be a direct bolt in design to the stock headers or any aftermarket shorty header. It will be 2.5" Manderal bent and have all the 02 bungs in the correct location. It will be a direct replacement off road H pipe that will come with a factory warranty.
I am estimating the starting price will be $179 shipped to get them to the market. For now I want to get one in my hands before I take orders. As soon as I install one and give the OK I will take orders and release all the details.

I'm also most interested. For the automotive ignoramus that I am, just how difficult is it to change out these pipes? Would it be something you could swap out for inspections?

I am patiently waiting until Brent gets the new off road H-pipe into production, then I get to do this all over again!
