Unfortunately, you can't buy the stock style handle seperately. I've asked Hurst several times for a part number so I could order one, but no one ever answered.
I have IUP in my car so there's plenty of "brushed" accents, but the chrome handle actually looks pretty good. And I usually don't like shiney chrome comparred to to brushed. The one thing in the interior it matches is the A/C trim rings.

No brain fart...you must have ESP.....I called on Friday and Jegs said it won't be in until Oct. 25th now.....I guess the new shifter is on the same production schedule as the Fang Mystery 8 hood.

I'd get that Mustang one if it was the right Mustang emblem.

FINALLY got a response from Hurst regarding the part number for the stock style shifter handle.
We do not offer that stick as a cataloged item, however, it is available as a service item. The part number is 238 0050 and cost is around $20.00.
I'm sure there's also a part # for the chrome stick if anyone's looking for one.

Wow - I love the abstract ones. In fact, I'm gonna order the Black Splash one. Thanks for that link!

No problem! I'm going to have to get one of the 5 colored flame versions, I've wanted one of those for a lot longer than I've had the Mustang

Does anyone know if there would be any issues installing either the hurst comp/plus shifter or the billet comp/plus shifter on a 2007 mustang?

Other than just being difficult to get it in down in the hole just like the '05/'06's, no. They are all the same, '05-'07.

My dad and I did the Hurst install yesterday. We fought the boot until I used the silicone, it made all the difference! Used one side of the handle on some rubber griped pliers to hold one point of the boot in place then used two hands to work the rest of the boot down, she slipped right on ;-) Thanks Cdvision, GREAT install tip! Love the Hurst, feels great, looks good, excellent mod.

Went to the MCA show yesterday and found this boot in a vendor tent. The guy let me borrow it to check the size so I took pics.
Also picked up a Hurst emblem for "Jessica".

I like the emblem, looks like it came that way from Flat Rock.

Thanks, Austin.
To me, that's the best compliment my car can get.

We had a heck of a time getting the placement JUST right. centering it up & down just didn't look right so it's slightly lower than the centerline.
