I'll never admit to how long it took.

BTW, I figured out why it looks like it "belongs" right there. That's where most dealers put their stupid emblems. Assuming you're thinking about putting yours in the same place, you might want to consider the other side. Seeing a '65 GT350 gave me the idea. I love that G.T. 350 badge. Simple & understated.

Well when I can eventually FIND one....

I plan on going opposite side of my FPV badge on the black out

up on the decklid, it won't work as well with the ducktail

I don't know where your FPV badge is. Pic?

I didn't realize the '65 had it down low like it does.

Center Counsel

Just installed a Hurst Comp+ shifter. Has anyone else experienced the center counsel heating up after install. After 10 minutes of driving the shaft on the shifter, the boot and center counsel is hot to the touch. What’s the problem?

??
I don't think there is a problem - my console gets decently hot since I bought the car

And if you went from a stock shifter to this, you never had any exposed metal on your shifter out in the open before (like the Hurst stick), so you could never tell if the shaft was hot or not....

Mine gets hot

I had a Hurst Shifter on my 66 Mustang and it was hot too.

Where are you getting these? I have a friend that wants one after using mine and has not been able find them in stock anywhere. I got mine a year ago and they are on back order there. Are they using all of these on the Shelby GTs?

I think the question should be: Has anyone seen anything more than a picture?

I am ready for a Hurst shifter. Do you think i should just order the one that is out now, or should I wait for the billet one? Im not sure if I can wait until November.

i love my comp plus, the shifts are solid and feel great! i couldnt complain the least bit.

3rd can be hard to find, but thats the stangs 5 speed for ya.
some other shifters overcome this, but i like the look and feel of the hurst.
