George decided to accept orders. We contacted George to provide enough information to secure a spot in the first production run.
Some would see that as a "commitment". I know I do.
I have made a contract with George and I will honor it. For me, the money is spent. All that remains is the physical exchange of monies for merchandise.
If you want to be part of the first wave to obtain this new shifter then my advice would be to "order" one now!

I guess it depends on how you look at it.

I talked to George on Monday and flat-out told him that I wanted to know the price before I *PURCHASED* it, because I don't want to be commited to buying a $500 shifter, if that's what it costs. He completely understands that, and also said THAT IT WOULD NOT BE THAT HIGH!!!

I have been waiting for this shifter ever since I purchased my car. Best believe I am on that list

But I agree, that if you have been waiting, then get on the list ASAP.

you guys are correct. i do not feel like i will have any problems getting this group buy filled quickly so if anybody backs out then no sweat at all. there is NO commitment at all other than you stating an interest in the shifter.
after i fill the 100 list i will be still taking names and numbers for the very reason that there will be some fallout come ordering time.
oh and here are the 2 videos i promised. they are to detail just one of the versatile aspects of the shifter. i have coveniently left a dust boot on the shifter and the handle bracket is a raw unplated prototype piece so as not to spill the beans just yet on the design but the feature is the main focus. this shifter will come with different handle options to sllow you to mount all sorts of aftermarket and stock **** configurations. these 2 videos show the handle option to mount a hurst ball and the new mgw gripper ball. they can be easily swapped out in seconds.oh and before anybody states the obvious i know the hurst ball was tightened crooked. the **** can be oriented once tight by spinning the whole shaft when adjusting the height which brings us to the second video...
the second video shows the ability to adjust the height of the ball **** by simply sliding it into the handle bracket. it is VERY convenient and allows infinite adjustments within a broad range for height.

Will you be able to keep it "factory looking" without the chrome shaft??? I want it to look the same as in this pic, which is the way I have it now:
#179
yes you will be able to choose when ordering which shaft you need. 1 will be for the hurst and other style ball ***** and the other for factory or equivalent type like the roush ****.
how does the roush **** hold the boot up??
