MGW short throw shifter !!!!
#342
it is VERY simple. just screw the linakge in to make the throw LONGER and unscrew it to make it SHORTER. you just cannot screw the linakge out more than 12 turns. it olny has about 18 threads on the shaft and any less than 6 threads engaged is unsafe. you will not need it any shorter though as the 12 turns out gives you about 50 percent reduction in throw.

okay guys i posted up a rough draft install video of the shifter...
it needs some corrections but is darn good for the first go at it. i will be reshooting it in better light and better audio later next week. i want to thank george in atlanta for doing this for me. it REALLY helps !!!

When I install your shifter, I am going to install a GT-500 e-brake and FRPP X-pipe at the same time. Since I am installing the e-brake, I believe I have to remove the bottom section of the console too. When I install the DynaMat, is it suppose to just be on the trans tunnel or is it suppose to be on the trans tunnel and wrap up onto the lower console piece too? I am ASSUMING it is only suppose to be on the trans tunnel and the DynaMat will be much easier to install w/ the lower console removed.

George told me that the supplied bushings are not necessarily any better than the stock ones. He's including them because some people threw the bushings away when installing the Steeda or Pro50 shifters. I think he just wants a complete shifter package when they ship which means bushings too.

this is correct. and the bushings are probably about 2 weeks out at this point. if you guys that are ordering the shifter have your stock bushings i would not wait. the shifter will not be any better with the new bushings. i would not even change them out later if i installed with the oem ones now but rather just keep them as spares if the stock ones eventually wear out.
again, to restate i am making bushings mainly because some guys simply do not have the stock ones to use anymore.

If we originally told your sales team to ship when the bushings came in, what do we need to do to have it shipped out now instead?
Should we call on Monday & tell them to go ahead and ship the shifter?
Thanks.
