You do not need to "crank" down on these screws. Over tightening will cause the inserts to balloon out the top.

Use super glue and give it a few minutes to set.
I have done this over and over with out the glue and no CEL.

Please try the glue and do not over tighten the screws. Apply pressure while screwing in you should be fine.

Guys, please give me a update as it seems as though most have fixed this with no more CEL.
Looks like all these are ok: Bryan,Lilhog,Loudog,Hotlap,Swooky,Satinsilver and Cdemot02.
Let us know if your still ok.

Tim, I'm very curious if you do have a dealer issue. Maybe they missed something??
Let me know
Jay
Mine's still fine...no CEL after about 275 miles on the JLT CAI. I'm knocking on wood as I type...

You cant go to Advance and get a cel pulled, they do not have the correct tool. Until the end of the month, Ford is the only place to get it checked.

2 weeks and 300 miles. everything is still fine. I put 1 degree of timing back in my tune ( I took out 2 because of pinging) and is running stronger than ever. Also I have picked up 10 miles per tank of fuel. That may not be alot but with the price of premium every little bit helps. Thanks for caring Jay.

Hey Bryan and other JLT owners, I had to comment on my dealings with Jay and Brent (DPG) today! I asked Jay about getting my .xrt (or whatever the file protocol is - I forget right now) so I could check out my tune and adjust the idle down a bit. Well Jay referred me right to Brent and he took care of me no problems whatsoever. He's not only sending me the file (so I can use the SCT software with my tune) but he also is adjusting down the idle for me b4 sending the file!! Great and prompt service and I appreciate them standing behind their work

Can't wait the check it out!!

Thanks Brad.
I think this goes to show I'm not running off with the $$ as my 2 friends ( )would like you all to think. I'm here for the long haul.
We will get you all great HP gains for "FAIR" $.

I'm sorry the Diablo tune isn't ready yet. I should have never posted it would be ready soon. I thought it would be a great idea to offer both tuners programs, but it's taking longer then expected. i will let you all know as soon as it's ready, but to be honest I think it may be a little while. Sorry!

As soon as you get that tune ready, you'll have another sale here.
Found out yesterday my dealer has no problem with the CAI/tune.
Supposedly. :-)

Same here! In my correspondence with DTP they indicated it is at least a couple of weeks away yet.

Guys I am tired of waiting for the Predator tune. What I think I might do is buy the JLT intake and have the car dyno tuned. I will try to have my tuner save my tune, which I can email to whomever wants it. I have to call SuttonHP on monday to see if they are able to do this.

Does anyone else on this forum have a custom tune for the JLT & Predator? I would like something to hold me over; however, I know it's crucial to have the a/f mixture correct. Not many tuners have the skills yet for that.

I know DTP has a good handle on it. So hopefully the tune will be coming out soon because I am anxious too.
