UPDATE

Finished up the design of the heat shield and picked out the edging. Right now I'm just waiting on a couple supplies to start production. I'll post pics once the have a production unit done and installed.

Shouldn't have any trouble shipping by early next week. The painted ones will take a few more days than the polished of course.

Sorry, that link is broken. I need to fix it. Although we don't really have all our Ford Racing stuff back up. But, we are a Ford Racing Distributor and can get you anything from FRPP. We can also get you any Ford factory parts. So even if you don't see it on our site, don't hesitate to call or email sales@modulardepot.com for a quote!

Ok, small change in the kit

All heat shields will be black powdercoated standard. There will be an additional charge to have that color matched or polished. It's the only way for me to bring the kit to market at the pricing I have laid out. I think that a black heat shield will look good and not take attention away from the CAI.

For the two people in this thread who have ordered and didn't order black, I will still do yours color matched and polished unless you tell me you would like to change it to black. Any further orders will be black with a $20 charge for polishing or color matching the heat shield.

On the dyno now!

So far 291/309 SAE

If those are the final numbers I'm very happy, but I still have more tuning to do.

Final numbers

Keep in mind this is with a dyno tune. Mail order tunes will most likely see a bit less.

SAE Numbers
Before
257 rwhp / 273 rwtq

After
292 rwhp / 314 rwtq

And for those that like STD numbers

Before

263 rwhp / 280 rwtq

After

300 rwhp / 322 rwtq

So SAE, that's a gain of

35 rwhp and 41 rwtq!!!!!!

Dyno Graphs

SAE

STD

I'm considering this project done and we will start production Thursday!!!!!!!

I'd say a few horsepower and torque. I have to be a bit conservative on the fueling on the mail order tunes. I'd say high 280's and 310 torque should be average.
