No. We will test it Monday or Tuesday next week. Even if the numbers posted in this thread are all we get, I'm very happy with the results, but I think we will get some gains.

FYI: Ken, while looking at your site, I noticed a typo in the description of the CAI.
"On top of that, each one is hand made of out aluminum and tig welded. A truely 'custom' piece, each kit will have a serial number."

Thanks for the heads up.
This is far from scientific, but I went to the track today to help a friend and decided to bring my car. My car is mostly stock. Has gears, mufflers and our CAI/Tune. It's also an auto. Had it to the track right after I got it. It was the same as it is now except with a different CAI. Best was a 13.8@101. That was on stock tires, full gas tank, right off the street.
Went today with only changes being my 19" wheels with Kuhmo tires, out CAI, some tranny tuning changes and probably a little better weather. Went 13.24@103.8 Again, this was right off the street. I don't even think I checked the air pressure. Car hooked pretty good considering the tires. Best was a 1.94.
So I would say we are definitely not getting a heat issues while going down the track with the improved trap speed. The old intake was plastic btw.
As unscientific as this is with different days, tunes, etc, we can still easily say the car is performing AT LEAST as well, most likely better.
Anyone interested in the deal, please buy asap. As of right now, this is the only place the intake is posted. It's not even on our own website. Late Monday we are going to put it on the homepage and other forums so I'm pretty sure we'll get to 20 pretty quickly.

out of all the production CAI's out there, it seems the demolet tunable induction is most similar to yours. a very direct design and angle of the elbow tube. What would you say makes yours more optimal therefore more HP/Torq?

Our main tube is 3.5" which provides plenty of flow but also maintains good velocity at low RPM/throttle positions.
Our main tube has an integrated one piece velocity stack which provides the smoothest alrflow possible. There are no seems or ridges between the air filter inlet and the MAF and beyond.
Our entire pipe is made of aluminum which I prefer. This is a preference really. But I would rather have a nice fabricated aluminum unit on my car as opposed to either:
Molded plastic
Plastic stock cut to make a CAI
Cast aluminum
Steel or aluminum piping with couplers that don't promote smooth airflow
Laminar airflow is our main goal. The less turbulence you have in the pipe the better power it will make.

Why such skepticism towards what Ken is trying to offer us?? I am not trying to start anything, but don't you think all of the big name cold air intakes started from somewhere too? I can't speak for Ken and what the plans are for his CAI and tune combos, but I think its great that he took initiative and offered something like this for us. I would be proud to have a piece of "fab crap" on my car with the kind of numbers he is getting.
