Not to get off topic, but you've actually got two rev limiters, one in neutral and one in gear, so you can use the first one to get your launches great every time. You've got a speed governor too (i set mine at 65mph one day just to see what it was like and promptly regretted it) and lots of other cool features.

Gentlemen,
Ken's problems are being taken care of as you read, His products are the "best" IMO, and HE is a pleasure to talk and deal with.

Treat him with respect, and He will do the same.

Carry on,
TDS

Are there problems I should be aware of? I just ordered this CAI and everything seemed to be going fine... Unless you're talking about the "other vendor" thing?

Congrats Dave on getting the CAI from Ken. Rest easy most of us have dealt with Ken and as TDS said

"His products are the "best" IMO, and HE is a pleasure to talk and deal with."

It has to be the "vendor" thing.

UPDATE

Things are progressing a bit slower than I would like but we are moving along. I got the heat shields from the water cutter but unfortunately we have to make one small tweak to the pattern. I should have the revised shields early next week (because of Thanksgiving). Remember that I won't charge any cards till they ship. Obviously I can't do anything about paypal. I don't see why we can't ship these the minute I get the heat shields. Sorry about the delays!

It's all good Ken. I'd rather wait and have it 100%.

Sorry, I missed the first request for an update. Still waiting on the heat shields, like I said I was expecting them this week. Should know something tomorrow. We finished up most of the first run of the pipes tonight. I'll post some pics tomorrow. Polishing is done on some of them and the painted ones will be painted sometime tomorrow. Thanks for the patience guys! These things are turning out even nicer than expected. We made some revisions to the build process that makes them turn out more uniform. I actually had to waste 4 pipes until we got the process down but now we are set!

Take your time Ken. I would rather they be done right than done quick.

Ken/Kelly:

On a side note, Have you noticed any MPG increases/decreases since installing your CAI and tune? you haven't made any references since posting the power numbers. Just curious.

Kelly is not running the CAI right now. There was only one and I'm running it. All production ones will go to customers first. As far the gas milage on my car, it's showing about the same.

It's hard to really measure on one car. Especially considering I use my car for development. Right now I'm working on some special Auto tunes so I'm spending alot of time at WOT.

Here is a picture of one of the polished CAIs

I will be contacting everyone tomorrow for their tunes but if you just want to send an email to sales@modulardepot.com with your name, processor code and all modifications.

Ken
