The carbon fiber really looks great , but I really wonder about how it will hold up in the long run . Has anyone had a set of these for any lenght of time ?

It should hold up just fine.

I just got off the phone with my VC guy, he's going to call me in the morning and do a little brain storm so he makes sure that heknows exactly what I want, and get the machines rolling! We've finally got some good forward progress which I'm excited about, I'll be sure to keep you guys posted.

I'm not sure if this is right location to ask this but here goes, I read somewhere that there are some differences in the valve/cam covers from the '05 to '09 GT's, but I can't find any thing to support it. The reason I'm asking is I want to pick up a used pair to try painting them myself, but I want to make sure they fit.

they are interchangeable you just have to have the right gasket. I picked up some 05s and coated them and put them on my 07. All the heads have the right bolt holes

Some years have more bolt holes. I think they are interchangeable, but you'd have to check for sure.

As a point of reference, I just installed a new set of blue FRPP covers with only 10 bolts on my 07 that has the older 14 bolt heads and have zero issues.
