Well since we want to be all politically correct, my covers serve a good performance function. It will provide a better way of venting the crank case and more pptions to do so by allowing you to use either a push on style breather cap or a 10 an fitting directly to a tank or catch can of your choosing.

Just as an update for you guys I'm very frustrated, I'm out cash and after 2 weeks "shipped" these heads haven't showed. I'll be out of town this week so if they don't show up I'll be filing a pay pal dispute to solve the matter.

Anyone got a pair of heads laying around?

The orange flamed set was done by UniqueAutomotiveDesigns.com. These are the ones I designed that they did:

A few pages back there was mention of AN fittings. I'm assuming you mean something like this?

Doing that is 'reasonably' simple. I measured the outside diameter of the nipples and compared them to a tap and die chart, selecting the thread that comes closest to using those sizes as a tap drill. Run the die down the nipple until it bottoms out on the swage. Use the AN fitting (I think those are a -6 and -10) with a big enough NPT connection, drill it out and tap it, then cut it off at the hex. Thread it onto the nipple and figure out how much of that needs to be cut off to get the AN fitting down to the swage and put it on with a sealant. Done.

Any questions, shoot me a PM or post up!

I'm taking it once step further, due to the fact I hadn't already purchased air brushed covers. The sheet metal covers will have female -10 AN fittings welded into them, so there's no threading or anything of that sort to do.

Thanks for the tips though, it's a good contribution to the thread and I never get tired of looking at your car!
