Question Anybody find any cool valve covers yet

I have seen chrome, red, blue, black standard covers. Are there any better ones out there.

I'm actually working on having a few sheet metal pairs made up, I got frustrated when Moroso released there's with such a high price tag!

You can always just take your stockers to the powder coater though. Cheap and effective!

Here's a recent thread with a few more ideas... https://themustangsource.com/showthread.php?t=478687

And if you don't mind spending >$700, these new ones from Moroso are very cool

I painted mine before the powder coat came out. They look so boring, I would prefer the finned, boxy look of the old days.

clear valve covers would be cool.. then you could see the cams spinning! but it would probably not be very durable.

Our cam covers are ugly because of their design. Those Moroso covers are the coolest ones I have ever seen because their design is different and they would look awesome with my moroso tanks but $700 bones is too much IMO~

I completely agree.

We just need something old school and different. I'm not interested in having blue or red valve covers.

I would love to see some ribed covers for our cars. The classic cooling fins on a round cover. This way it still looks like a OHC cover but also makes the engine look like an old offy or lotus engine. Would make a nice touch, but if moroso is charging 700 bux for a partial sheetmetal covers, then a full cast alu with fins would be out of this world.

In any case, my stockers have some crud on them that wont freaking wash off.

Also having female -AN fittings in place of the stock nipples for hooking up lines for an air/oil seperator would be very cool
