Like Bill, I couldn't open the attachments.

No chores here, either. My "weekend" is Wed & Thurs.

I'll post pics of my new spoiler soon to see what everybody thinks.

It does look like a clean install. But, I don't think (without modification) it'll fit with the CDC Chin spoiler installed.

If the front still has the black plastic on the very botton , it won`t make any difference as long as the middle colum is still there.

Looks clean, but I am just glad OK doesn't make you place a Front Plate on a car. (Another screwed up TX thing )
Been busy playing, golf, river trip, zoo trip etc. Not home much and no new mods to post about.

Very nice.
I like putting it down below the bumper. Mine is in about the same place, but I have no attachment bolts. I used some heavy duty velcro straps to attach the bracket.

I tried to show it on the picture in post #48 of the plate thread. They go all the way around and are completely removable. One around the center post and 2 through the top. They are HD velcro cable straps.
I put some thin red circles to show the attachment points if you click on the photo.

I got my "281" emblems today, so I'll be putting them on, plus I have to take pics of the new black spoiler. The Mach 1 Hood Graphics are on the way from Graphic-Express, and the MUSTANG letters should be here Wednesday or Thursday.

So I'll have a bunch of pictures for all y'all's approval.

Things About the Shaker:

* I've driven to work the last 2 days in heavy, heavy downpours. Bill, you would have had several heart attacks. But that's what I like about white... the car still looks clean! Anyway, none of this rain bothered the car and I'm sure it had to be sucking some into the scoop.

* I have noticed some performance improvement. Not during normal driving, but under hard acceleration. I enter onto the turnpike each night on a long acceleration lane. I always pull the car hard in 2nd gear, but now when I shift to 3rd, it pulls just as hard in 3rd as it does in 2nd. I could easily be over 100 MPH by the time I'm on the turnpike, but I back off at about 85 and coast back to 75 or so and set the cruise. I love when people move over to the left lane for me, but then realize that I'm now WAY ahead of them, so they move back over to the right lane.

Shaker update:
$30 and a 1 hump hose later, it looks like I'm finally complete!

I may at some point replace the rubber coupler (sleeve) on the lower duct that I cut and shortened with a similar back silicone coupler. Because it's so short on the grip area (for the hose clamps), it may pop apart. The silicone coupler seem to grip the duct and hose clamps tighter. Ahh, but that's later on, I'm tired of working on and tweaking the Shaker ducts.

Here's some pics of the complete system.

Looks good, Bill! Going to try the zip tie idea? I changed mine to thicker ones and they grip a lot better. Best part is they become basically invisible.

3rd brakelight overlay install

I just installed my custom overlay decal from custombrakelights. He can put pretty much whatever name or message you want on it.

Installation

* I taped off the area of the brakelight with a rag (to catch the application fluid).. Hey, I just Zaino'd it!

* Next, I wiped down the brakelight lens with alcohol.

* I peeled the 'white' backing off the decal, careful not to touch the adhesive backing.

* I sprayed the lens area so the decal won't stick to it (Had some left over vinyl application spray from when I did the stripes).

* I floated the decal into place and used a squeegie (center out) to lay it flat in place and get the water out.

* Once tacked on there, I carefully peeled the top clear protective cover off the decal.

* I let it sit for several minutes until all the liquid evaporated and gently folded the decal edges over the lens. Some areas around the corners will crease up, but it so tiny it won't really matter.

That's it! 5 minutes top (plus drying time)!

And yes, it is BRIGHT!

btw- I tried to think about some cool, non-agressive message, but this is all I can come up with! The Police will love me for sure.

I tried 2 good sized black ties on the lower duct and had them TIGHT. Then, when I tried to install the hump hose, the two lower duct halves pulled apart!

I put the hose clamps back on and they seem to be holding. I also ran the engine and hit it to several 5-6k rpms blasts (torquing the engine) to see if the clamps will fail, but so far so good.

I don't mind the look of the clamps, just as long as all the turn screws are even and aligned.

Same here, I just e-mailed him asking if he can make one for the 05-06, said it was no problem (he didn't have one up for auction at the time) and ordered one off line.

Tip: When ordering, better specify lowercase or UPPERCASE on your message. And if you want the 'GT' in logo form (like mine), better specify that too.
