And yes, Goo-Gone works perfectly for those little sticky squares on the rims.

Sorry guys, I only have the Klein strap wrenches, which I cannot give away
I can however give you a discounted price if you are interested in purchasing one. PM me as I won't list pricing, etc on the general forum.

1989 Mustang

While moving the '89 Mustang 5.0 out of the garage to make room for the spring change, I made 2 videos (actually it has a 331 in it now and not a 302). So that makes it a Mustang 5.4 instead. It's pure horsepower, no emissions whatsoever. It is estimated at 385 BHP, but I have to get it dyno'd to confirm that. In 2nd gear going 45 MPH, when you step on it and open up all 4 barrels, it breaks the tires loose very easily. Those are Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers just like on my and Daryl's GTs. No cats, though.

It sounds better in person (turn speakes way up to get a better idea). The cam is pretty radical, but the RPMs aren't going up and down like it sounds in the videos (it's idling at a pretty steady 800 RPM). I'm next to the open garage, so I don't think the camera knows what to do with the sound. You can hear the tone change as I move.

Wow, what crappy quality!

2nd video won't play.

Exhaust note in the first clip sounds good though.

Kinda reminds me of my 85 (302 CID) that was built pretty good. Had a Comp Cams Magnum 280H in it (280 degrees of duration). Catless too, ahh, the good ol' days.

btw- Think your 06 can take your 89?

Got to see both vids now, didn't work earlier for some reason.

I thought I'd see you make a run down your street in the vid, but I see it just got done raining(?).

Now that the 89 is backed out from your garage, how's the Steeda transplant going?

The '89 will blow the '06 away. I think I'll get one of the new style G-Tech Pros and do 1/4 miles times. BTW, that is just condensation from the pipes... it hasn't been started for awhile.

Thanks for checking on the straps, Daryl! No Disney tickets for you! J/K!

Yeah, we really needed the rain... those fires were getting pretty close! Hear about them on the news?

I just have measurements and camber angles taken for now. The excitement starts tomorrow!

He has some buffing and imperfections to fix, then they will be ready to put on. He said he had them a lot longer than he should have, but in his defense they have been slammed lately.
Should be ready in a day or two, but no install this weekend
My youngest newphew is graduating and its a 6hr one way trip (FIRST MUSTANG ROAD TRIP YEA ) I did take off Monday, so maybe then. I'll post pics when it's all said and done.

Well, it's not perfect, but close enough for a Haole. You need to hold up your thumb instead of your ring finger next time.

Oh yeah, about the scoops, they look fantastic to me!

You may want to bring the Z-6 and a towel along for your roadtrip so you can spiff her up before presenting the GT to your family.

Are you saying that reflection is not good enough

I though that was my index finger
And if Susan sees that she will undoubtedly mistake that for the stupid Hook 'em Horns symbol

Coats of Z-2 you have on is perfect! But, bird poop and head-on suicide bugs may not sheet off like water. This is where the Z-6 comes in.

Oops, you're correct, it be the index finger. "Hook 'em Horns" means little to us SoCal folks (espically me, the JA variety).

Nope... not kidding. But that's after a week of driving on that car I would guess. None of mine get that way!

I can only imagine what the front honeycomb grille must look like as well as the lower open grill with the radiator fins exposed after the Love Bug attack.

That's too much cleaning for me.

Really not that bad. After I wash the car, I use the air-compressor to blow water (and bugs) out of the grille. Works great! (Like your leaf blower).
