Thanks for your opinion Joe. And now another reason I don't prefer Japanese.

I've only had it at one place that was pretty good but the chef is known for going way beyond the normal sushi. Guy is amazing compared to any other sushi joint I've been too. Still just not my deal though.

Not for me. There's nothing on that plate that I would eat.

I live sushi! Most northerners and people who don't live near a coast don't usually care for it. More than likely because they never get fresh seafood. There is nothing like a fresh piece of baby salmon with some wasabi on it to burn your brain and clear your sinuses.

I live on the coast and I'll take my seafood cooked thank you.

To each his own. Life is too short to be picky, though.

I wouldn't call it picky to want cooked food.

I just have no desire to eat it. Now if its fried, broiled in butter, grilled, or blackened then I'm your man.

And I prefer Chinese over Japanese unless its hibachi cooking.

No it isn't. Especially when there are so many different great restaurants out here.

Same here, although I'm not much of a fish eater in general, I love seafood when I'm on the coast and can get it fresh. Gotta be cooked though. There's a little fish market down the road from my aunt's house that I like to pick up some at when I'm there. You just pick out what you want from the case and for a couple dollars extra they'll cook it for you, fried or blackend. Its delicious, and you can't beat the price.

That sounds good, except for the spinach casserole.
