Love bleu cheese!
For salads eating out, I always ask for bleu cheese AND ranch dressings, then I mix the two.
I call it "Rancho Bleu."

It's good on hamburgers, but I don't use a lot because it can cover up even strong flavors like smoke. Bland starches like potatoes and rice are good carriers for it. Salads as well. I can't stand eating rabbit food, but I do it when I have a little bit of bleu cheese to crumble into the lettuce.

I see they sell that Conecuh at the Publix here in Columbia. Which one is the best, Lee?

I normally get the Hickory Smoked (yellow label, skinny link) but after eating the Hickory Smoked Spicy and Hot (red label, skinny link) the other day, I'd say its my favorite. Its not real hot, just a lot more flavor and more savory. I like the Original (yellow/blue label, fat link) but it doesn't have anywhere near the flavor of the two I mentioned above, and the casing is tougher and it doesn't fit on a hot dog bun. Its good, but my least favorite.
