WHATS FOR DINNER?
Pictures, but not food ... yet
OK,
Got my new grill and it is awesome.
Nice deal at Lowe's - grill and custom cover for less than two bills.
Three burners plus side, ceramic-coated inserts, stainless upper rack and yes, TWO FRICKIN' SMOKESTACKS! (lol)
(Sorry for taking pics with a potato)

Gets up to and stays at 500F on low - high is about 675-700.
I think I am going to like this dude.

Every time I see new grill I think you are gonna post pics of the front of your car
Nice grill anyway

Ribs, sweet potato, and broccoli. Took pic special for Adrian. Not that it's even anything that great.
Of course that is with the top closed. I always grill at high heat with top open and only close the top for the last 5 minutes. Turn off the gas and let the dripping juices sizzle with a finishing smoky rest period.
BTW, I completely forgot to take pics of the steaks (they were amazing). I can show y'all the bones.

I'm just a charcoal guy. In the summer though cause it just takes too much in the winter. Better control of heat and better flavor.

My appetizer... Sashimi
Not sure I'd trust sushi in alabammy...
My dinner with pictures for Adrian: smoked filets (not grilled, BBQ'ed), bleu cheese mashed potatoes, smoked asparagus and butterflake rolls courtesy of the H.E.B bakery.

I don't use gas grills because the flavor is never as good with them as it is with a wood fire. It takes a little time, but learning how to manage the temperature is just as easy as turning a **** on a propane grill. Much better flavor with wood.
