Ford Claims Ownership of Your Pictures

The Black Mustang Club wanted to put together a calendar featuring member's cars and print it through CafePress, but an attorney from Ford nixed the project, stating that the calendar pics and 'anything with one of (member's) cars in it infringes on Ford's trademarks which include the use of images of their vehicles.' Does Ford have the right to prevent you from printing images of a car you own?"

Gee maybe if Ford spent more time on their cars than they do sueing people for copyright they just might not have just dropped to number 3 in the country.

Darrell, I was reading the for sale thread about the seat belt retainers and noticed you bought a set. How do like them?

Well I brought one of his first sets. lots of tool marks. I have spent several hours grinding, filing, sanding, and polishing them. I also drill out his hole to fit a rubber grommet into it so they don't rattle on the headrest posts. I do like them and I think they are getting better at their finish. Tom and Scott saw them at Brenspeed's Dyno day.

I have been looking at these again lately. Maybe because I have went several weeks without buying any mods for the car. I'm in withdrawal mode. But I could not deal with that rattling issue. Good fix Darrell!

I had a classmate that drove his father's old company van. I forget what business he had but his company logo was still on the side which we think helped keep the cops away. There was some serious party going on in that van. When I think of all the **** that I did back then it's a wonder that I'm still alive!

Ha Ha .... I know what you mean Robert. Looking back to those times I sometimes feel lucky I lived past 20 yrs. old. I spent 1 year at Ohio State. I was in an agricultural dormatory with a bunch of farmers. That year was a blurr. I made the decision to move back home and go to Wright State. I never would have survived 4 years up there.

Looking like a busy day at Brenspeed on Feb 15th. 2 sets of cams, other goodies for Ben plus custom dyno tunes for both of us. Larry (Airecare) did you ever commit on the custom dyno tune on your car on the 15th??
Scott

Maybe Secret Agent Man will cut thru all the "Smoke and mirrors" by than and let us know what Darrell, Darrell and Tom are up too.

I'd love to drive you old farts around, but after riding in a blown eye catcher such as mine while a movie is playing on the screen in the dash, you'd probably just end up envious. Remember after your cam install, you'll still only be ~150 rwhp less than mine. Plus, I'm kinda like woman candy in this car, you two dudes couldn't catch my fastballs.
