It happens to all of us...
You're driving along
just minding your own business,

when all of a sudden -
without any warning,
This Dick In A Truck
pulls out right in front of you......

Yes I did. It got here on Wed. I will most likely wait until after the holidays to do the install. It is one nice piece of equipment. So are you going to get your duals installed before you go to Brenspeed for your custom tune?

Hey Dirk.....how is the weather over in them parts. We are getting ready for some snow later tonight and tomorrow.

Oh man of all the things I did the most annoying was installing the dual pump. I did it in the middle of the summer and dropped a gallon of sweat into the gas tank. When you get the stock one out and then look at the dual next to it. I just knew there was no way it would go back in there. Part of the body covers part of the opening. That sucker scraped going in all the way. I just knew I had f***ed it up. But luckily it works. I don't ever want to do that again.

The wiring was a cake walk. The whole thing didn't take that long, but it wasn't fun at all.

Dang........ time to start thinking about either a '11 stang with the 5.0 or a used 07-09 GT500 for around the same price. Anyone else here thinking about something similar?

Yep...... should be. Won't beat forced induction though. Will be interesting to see how it does with a blower..... 550 rwhp easily? Guess it depends on how much more stress the new pistons/rods can handle.

Not really a fan of either body. Would take the engines in a heartbeat though.

No way. Don't have room and I still have the Fox vert and the Bronco to work on. It'll be a while before I get the urge again.

No payment is so nice right now.

We have 6 bays that are big enough for a full size 40 foot school bus, plus one smaller bay for mini buses that can still fit a full size in a squeeze, and a wash bay that usually doubles as a work bay, so we can fit 8 buses in with plenty of room to work on them. Sometimes I will do quick fixes outside as long as its not freezing cold, but most of the time I bring the bus inside.

I believe Justin is being political correct when he calls them "mini buses"

We all work on the smaller buses at times, but there is one guy that has been working on them for over 10 years now, so he gets most of them. I have worked on the smaller buses from time to time, but most of the time I work on the full-size ones.

You were definitely stirring the pot with that one. j/k
