I've been happy with the results of 2.0 so far...works good on my daily driver jeep. I'll use something topnotch on the Mustang. But I wont argue with this

Thats not a bad shine you got there. I do have a question tho. How do all of y'all get the water spots off of your windows? What I do is polish the windows with cleaner wax when I wax the car. To me that is the same thing as Rain-x.

I sent them an email last night. I'm sure I'll hear from them on Monday. But it's going to be tough to beat that price Darrell found from CJ Pony.

A little vinegar in a spray bottle with water will get the water spots off the window.

Here's how I prepare my car befor the season starts or a big car show.

1. Wash with Dawn dish soap to remove everything down to the clear coat.
B. Clay bar the whole car.
3. Bring out the Rotary buffer and use up some of that Black Mud swirl removeal
d. Put on some good wax (not the stuff you buy at K-mart or Wally World)
5. The next day I put on a Paint sealant like Wolfgangs.

I then re apply the wax about evry 2 weeks to layer it on for that deep wet look shine.
And almost every day I drive it I use a California Duster and a good detail spray to keep it clean.

Now I have never used a clay bar. What does using one do?

It pulls contaminants out of the surface of the paint. Makes the paint smoother than ever.

Does it give it a deeper shine when waxed after it is clay barred?

Well I checked out CJ Ponyparts and I also thought it was a great deal. Seems like Jegs,
Summit, CJ Ponyparts and others price is $339.95. All of them. So I went to purchase it this morning and never could get the 10% off as advertised. So I gave them a call and you have to hit the little * in the ad. Seems the price has to be shown in RED to get that 10% off and guess what the TCI shifter is not included. So I got an email from Brenspeed this morning and their price is $360 shipped so I'd say it is basically price fixed by TCI. There is someone on Ebay that is selling them for $315 plus shipping but I know nothing about them. But I read something about this shifter that it will not shift over 6000 rpm without a tune mod. So for that reason alone I think I will beat up Brenspeed for a little better price and go with them.

That guy's feedback is 100% positive so you should be okay. But his price is lower because it doesn't include some stuff (Solenoid lock, lighted indication, key interlock are NOT Included). So I dont know how much more that would all cost.

Please explain to me, what advantage would this have? I don't see how a different automatic shifter for an electronically controlled transmission could have any performance advantage. Does it hook to the car in a different way or communicate with the computer differently? How is this shifter going to tell the car "i just shifted from one gear to another" any quicker or more effectively than the stock shifter? Is this just for looks?

Yeah Nick as far as I am concerned this shifter is pretty much a "bling" thing. Kind of like Darrell's disco ball's! I feel like I have done it all with this car staying N/A. You got to admit it is pretty! Wow...I am pretty superficial huh? It kind of give us auto guys something to do with our right hands while we drive. :-) Can't wait for Gary's response to that comment.

Thanks guys

A little werid in the Hospital. They built a new one and will be moving the 14th, so alot of things are already moved. The Hospital looks empty. The have quit taken patients unless it is life or death. All the food places are close , the gift shop, its creep.
Getting ready to go back down in a couple of hours, the next 48 hours will tell the tell.

Finally got my internet back today..... had been off since Friday night and my Blackberry crashed- requested a new one this morning. Anyway, best wishes Darrell, hoping for speedy recovery.

Spent all day at the Hospital, still looks bad but she was talking after they took her breathing tube out. I think things are shutting down in her.

On another note what are your thoughts on this?
