On my way to my 1st job interview.. ever! Never had to do one before, rather nervous.
Even tho its for a crappy place, and I'll get crap for it, Jiffy Lube store manager.
I cant be picky right now that's for sure. Pay and benefits are good, that's what I need to be concerned with.

Hah, thanks guys.
Went well I believe. They sent me for a **** test. Never had to do one of those before. Dont let my nick fool ya, I am sure I passed, lol. That comes back good, then they do a background check which I am fine on as well. So with the holiday, it will be a good week before I hear anything.
Pay is close to what I made in the past, plus with bonus' I could be making more.
Benefits are good.

Good luck John!

Good luck John! Of course, I have no doubt that you'll get the job. You're intelligent, have a good attitude and from what I gather, have a good work ethic. Why wouldn't they hire you? Besides, you're a "Mustang Guy". Every company needs to have some Mustang guys on the team.

Later in the day another place called to set up an interview!
This is with Lease plan USA, what this location does is handle the repair authorization
for people that have company cars. Also assist the driver of the car for any needs.
I use to have to call them all the time when I worked at Goodyear for repairs when someone would bring
in their company car for stuff.
Pretty cake job, and in air conditioning! Just a little farther to drive up to Rolling Meadows, near Ohare. Looks like if I land that job I will be driving my winter beater more in the summer, lol.

No John.. you see, you have it all backwards.
When you have a long commute, that's when you have a good excuse to drive your mustang. I didnt get mine Until I had over a 70 mile commute round trip. I told myself... If I'm going to drive this far, and spend so much time in a car.. I'm going to do it in a car I LOVE.
However... after a week of that, I saw how many miles I put on it, and I got my taurus back out... so maybe you're right...haha

Yo Midwestern Dudes plus Dirk and Ed,
Hope all is well. Made it back to Ohio today. First off............Best of Luck to you John!!!!! Had a great time over in the cabin in Brown county Indiana. It's a great place to unwind for a few days. Cell phones don't work at all and the cabin still has a party line if you can believe they still exist. Hope everyone has a safe New's Years Eve and an even better 2010.
Hey Tom or Darrell,
Got a question for you guys since you have already done this. I am working on replacing my passenger's side valve cover and the wiring is getting hooked on the oil filler tube. It seems it would be easier to remove the VC if that tube was off. I rotated it counterclockwise and it rotates about 1/4" and stops. I am afraid to get brutual with it because I don't want to break it off and have plastic pieces falling down into the timing chain areas. Is there a secret to removing it or is there a locking tab on the inside that needs to be pushed to remove the filler neck????

We attempted to stay out at Brown County Halloween weekend, but it was sold out, grrr.
Settled for a Cabin at Jellystone, other than raping you, it was nice, and pretty much all to ourselves.

Welcome back! Hope you have a wonderful and Happy New Years. So far 2010 is not much different than 2009. Well that is here at least.
