If Ford uses the same TPS system as Chrysler, it will act screwy for a while until the weather temps stop changing so much... at least that's what our Aspen does.

In, and gone....... see ya'll.

Darrell do you know what color powdercoat you may want? The price depends on that because some colors require a base coat and a top coat.

The original guy's oven isnt big enough so I am going through someone he referred me to.

You can choose colors from this site http://www.powderbuythepound.com/catalog/index.php

Okay. It's no big deal. There is salt of the roads now so the car isn't going anyway for a long time.

There is powdercoat available that's pretty much exact Ford Blue.

Mine are going to be $80 for the pair because they need to be coated twice (black base, color top) in a color that's close to vista blue.

But if it's a single coat, like that Ford blue, or something solid like black etc, it would be less.

If you have a color in mind I will ask him. Were you going to get yours painted Ford Blue? I will ask him about pricing for that.

I think I paid like $80 or so to have mine powder coated blue here in Decatur. Don't be surprised if they have to redo them or they don't come out exactly perfect, mine kept having some bubbles form at first because of the magnesium I guess.

I will hurl verbal insults at him until he gets it right!
And if he complains, I shall taunt him a second time!

I'm glad the weekend is here, the past few days were pretty tough with the weather being so cold. Nothing on the school buses works properly when it gets this cold. We had lots of starting issues, stuck parking brakes, air systems not building up, etc.

Great find again Darrell. I have been waiting all week for a new credit card to arrive from the bank. Ours was compromised some how last week by two $9.95 charges from overseas and Chase bank cancelled it. I had hoped it would have arrived yesterday but didn't. Maybe today. I can't buy **** at the moment. And I refuse to use an debit card on the internet.

He has Ford Blue, that color would be $30 per valve cover plus shipping.

Are the Ford Racing spark plugs M124053V0 the same as Autolites HT0??

For $60 a pair for Power coating I'll probably get both sets done and with Nick's super deep discounted shipping rates wow.

Thinking of the Dual GT 500 Fuel pumps from CJ Pony at 629. I could then sell my Fuel pump with the single Super GT pump, plus a have another Super GT pump sitting here, plus the KB bap could be sold, along with the Carbon Fiber Side window Louvers... MMM I need to look in the garage this weekend to see what I can sell.

Hey Scottie... what were those CC numbers on that new card.

I think that is a slight package deal, I believe normally it's like $35 plus shipping per cover. He told me the price would be $25-30 per cover but I just put $30 here because I'd rather slightly overestimate the price than underestimate it.

I am getting a color that is close to vista blue.

I'm not in a huge rush but I don't want to leave the guy hanging, know what I mean?

Darrel you still need to let me know what color you might be interested in so I can see if the guy stocks the color. But yeah I can ship your and mine together and I will send him a label to send them back to me with my discount.

I'll see if I can get my covers taken off the car after the Packers rape the Bears tomorrow. Then I will be able to fondle my Comp NSR cams!!!

Hey Darrell,
Good news....the new credit card made it today. So just need to get it activated and thrash the hell out of it. The new card # is BR549

So Nick... can you post Vista Blue next to Ford Blue? If it's marginally different I might just go the powder coat route instead of painting. But I am concerned about one thing. I have already started filling in the porosity in the castings I received from Darrell with JB weld which is an epoxy and not metal. I wonder if powder coat will stick to it? I may already be committed to painting them.
