I thought they turned out really well. What do you think. Of course you have to see them in person to really appreciate them.

I am also painting up my MAF housing to accent the covers. I think with the addition of the "powered by ford" manifold cover it's gonna look real nice.

They turned out very nice david! What color is that? Is that like the industrial gray?

The color was actually "new ford grey" If it had a metalic flake to it, it would have been perfect. But in the engine compartment it looks a bit darker which helps. I like it.

Those cam covers make such a dramatic improvement in the looks of the engine compartment. I was very surprised. If your looking to show your car with the hood open I would definately recommend some sort of upgrade to these. Either paint polish or coating. Somthing.

Pretty easy to remove and replace huh David? I love that gasket and the bolt design. Almost makes it foolproof.

No BYB tomorrow...

Sam's has not yet given BYB an ok on using parking space, BYB says the following Tuesday - 3/20/07 - as long as Sam's does not go crazy.

Yep, real easy. Much simpler than the old fox bodies that I'm used to doing. I used to use high tack gasket sealer to hold those in place so they wouldnt shift out of place.

Back to the cam covers I only had trouble being careful putting them back in so as not to scratch the paint. Snaking them thru the rats nest of wiring was interesting. But I got it in without scratching thank God!

Here is what I vote for... just watch where you place them because if you put then on to low you will not see all of the decal.

Coat of high heat clear,

Decal,

Coat of high heat clear..
