On the lighter side
I'm a Dot-Commer... Started a website in 1999 while i was still working at Lucent Technologies as a programmer. Quit from Lucent last year to run my dot-com website full-time. In six months I've hired 4 full-time employees and bough my first mustang... Life is good when you work your plan and plan your work (well not all the time but hey)
Well I've been a city bus driver for some 31yrs. Fell in love with the Mustang in 1965 when I was 15. Still in love with them! Seems I've been on the road most of my life, so why not be with something that you love. It helps when your wife lets you have your toys!
Happy Trails!!! :drive:

Currently I work for Metropolitan Transit Authority - New York City Transit (MTA-NYCT for short) as a Collecting Agent. If you've ever seen the movie The Money Train, that's what I do. Looking to move down south to Florida a persue a law enforcement career.
I am a BellSouth Facility Technician. I climb telephone poles, splice cables, crawl under houses...........whatever it takes to keep your phones working. My wife is a High school mathematics teacher. She teaches Geometry, AlgebraII, and Trig.

I'm 49 and I've had an interesting career path. I started out in the Navy, 3 years in Holy Loch, Scotland on a submarine tender, 2 years at Miramar Naval Air Station, and a tour on the USS Duluth out of San Diego. I got tired of the long deployments and switched over to the Coast Guard. I spent 3 years on the icebreaker Mackinaw in Northern Michigan (my home state), then 7 years conducting ship inspections on the St. Lawrence Seaway in upstate New York. I retired from the USCG and switched teats on the Government cow. I now work for the D.O.T. conducting ship inspections on the Seaway. Life is good.
After all these years,
My C/T still sucks!

Dave...
25 year old software developer in the 2nd silicon valley. The pay is good for someone my age. Combine that with the fact that I'm "single" and I end up living very comfortably. I'm putting $5500 down and financing the rest.
This will be my first car on my own.

I'm 28, and am an Architect at a very small firm that does strictly high-end residential homes... nothing under $2 million. Unlike most firms, it's pretty laid back here. No deadlines at all really. Just clients who have a heck of a lot of money, and already live in very nice houses, so they can take the time to spend 3-4 years designing and building a 7,000 sq. ft. mansion on a thousand acres.
