I ride a horse for the Border Patrol. From one pony to another.

That sounds like an interesting job.

I'm in the Florida Army National Guard full time...my deployment last year definitely helped me afford this car. Can't wait for January when it comes in!

I'm a Master Sergeant in the Air Force. I'm in aircraft maintenance-avionics carreer field. I'm currently stationed at Osan AB Korea with 3 months left on this unaccompanied tour. I'll return to Beale AFB, CA to my family and a new Mustang in November.
I am currently associated with the F-16 fighter and will be assigned to the Global Hawk unmanned recon aircraft upon return to Beale.

Systems engineer for the top Grocery wholesaler in the USA. Been here 9 years. Before that I worked for the Bank of North Dakota, the only state owned bank in the country. Before that I was an Instrumentation Supervisor in a chemical plant.
GT will have about $10K down and the rest on a low interest loan.

I did well in High School and got enough money in scholarships to pay for my tuition, books, living expenses, and still have some left over that I use to pay for my car. I am going to school to be a pharmacist, and I work part time at a pharmacy owned by the parents of one of the girls I graduated with who goes to the same college I do. I also tutor her in chemistry (my best subject. Originally I was going to double major in chemistry and chemical engineering). All in all, a pretty good deal.

USAF Captain, C-130 Hercules Instructor Navigator, (hence the nick) stationed here in sunny, (HOT!) Little Rock AFB training young men and women the intricacies of being a C-130 Nav... I love my job, and still sometimes have trouble believing they pay me to do it...
I couldn't agree more. ISELLFORD Thanks for the sacrifice and service. I had a little Navy time myself. I used to be a Seabee back in the day. The Marines I worked with said we were Marines on light duty chits.
The more I read through these forums the more I realize how many military folks (past and present) own Mustangs.

I run the art dept for a very large construction company in Seattle, been there for 20 years, they take very good care of me!, all medical and retirement paid 100% by the owner, I feel very lucky.
My wife is a medical professional in the autopsy field.
kids are all grown and gone, I'm 50 and the new Mustang will be my daily driver and a nice companion for the Shelby.
Had money saved, will just pay for the car with that and save on the interest.
BTW, my big thanx to the current and former military on this board!!!

Im a Corporal with the Dodge City Police Department (layoffs in the Law Enforcement field are almost unheard of). Been here for 3 years and prior to this, I was a Border Patrol Agent in S. Texas for about 10 years. Dont have my Mustang yet, but all the paperwork for the loan is ready to roll. Ive been getting little mods once a month just to take the edge off the addiction. Taking most of my extra cash and paying down nebulous bills till my 06 come is.
I work as a contract instructor pilot for the US army teaching initial entry helicopter pilots how to fly. Whenever I do get my mustang (build date Aug 22) hope to put several grand down and low interest loan for the rest. Thankfully I found a dealer that took X-plan.
CPA for 27 years, currently in the Corporate HQ Tax Department of a multi-state electric utility company. Specifically, I am Manager of IRS Audits for the company---I am the Company's first point of contact with the IRS. Not as bad as it may sound---challenging, and the tax controversy practice is much more interesting to me than tax planning or compliance (i.e. preparing tax returns). And, it takes good care of the family, as well as the Stangs.
Some very interesting jobs, and people, here on TMS. Good idea for an interesting thread.

Spent some time in those old girls back in the days. I was an Air Traffic Controller for 7 years in the Navy, then worked Martin Airport in MD. The MD Guard had 130's and A-10's. I have a soft spot in my heart still for Military aviation.
