Scored some new wheels for the Boss. Really did not like the stock wheels, and these are about 7 lbs lighter each wheel.

What do you think. I'm not totally sold, but I do like them better than stock.

 

Yeah, not my style, but better than stock. The rivets and huge lip ruin them for me.

 

What size tires are on the wheels look really short!

 

Funny, the lip is part of what sold me on these. I'd prefer a nice 5 spoke like the bullets, but no go over the brembo.

Its a nice wheel, but just my opion that they dont fit the style of the BOSS. To much Bling. I'm old school and love chrome but it's just to much for the Boss's style.
The wheel I like best on the Boss are the Ford Racing 302s wheels. Just the right amount of Bling.
Whats funny is that I have seen GT's & 5.0. sporting the Boss waggon wheels and they look great.
Why?
Whats the differance except a C stripe for the 2012.

I also think in years to come that the Boss wheels are going to become somewhat rare. Due to the fact that they only came on the Boss and was only a 2 year run. I dont believe I have even seen an aftermarket wheel copying the Boss wheel. Could be wrong on that..Never know.

Never get tired of looking at differant combo's of mustangs and wheels.

One last opion>>> Car would also look better with those wheels if it was lowered also. Not slamed but lowered some.

Now folks, be nice. OP's pic #1 looks fine. Pic #2: the car might be parked funny like on an incline or something. for example right side of pavement is higher than left.

 

Yeah, not my favorites, look like they belong on an import from the 90's.

 

Relative to the wheel gap, the pavement was uneven, though some Ford racing boss springs are likely in the future.

Wheels are such a subjective area. I just cannot warm up to an all black wheel, which it seems is all the rage. Moreover, laced wheels like these are so popular, but almost all of them have no lip....another turn off as far as I am concerned. I like a wheel with some depth and added dimension.

I'd love a black Bullitt with a polished lip, but I'm not willing to go to 20" wheels.

These wheels look pretty nice in person. The cell phone pics don't do them a complete justice. The only thing I don't like are the rivets. I may have those painted.
