I'm a Facilities Supervisor for two 80,000 sq ft buildings. Our company is called Digidesign, we design, engineer, test and ship. We make the big (and small) boards you see in recording studios, all digital ofcorse, no tape.

I'm a salesperson at RadioShack. Will hopefully pay off my V6 (and possibly buy my dad a GT) when I become a manager.

Retired after 34 years as Telecommunications Tech, Microwave,
Fibre, DSL and Data Comm.
Last year I needed a new Home, had 80k to use.
My Mustang now costs more than my Home.

Maybe some of us should be asking Dave (Murphy77) for some Help.
can anyone say Addictive, Compulsive, etc.

Ah yes the old NTDS. Hope it's more reliable now than it was back in '69. We used it for departure and arrivals. I worked the console right next to the hatch into CIC and could hear them cussing all the time!

Thank you for your service.
. . . and you yours ! I was in from '75 to 81' . . . . doubt things changed much in that period of time but like you . . . I hope to heck it's better now days.

Something about missles you launch coming back at the ship unintentionally that's a little un-nerving !!! Not to mention minor stuff like the mess that chaff rockets make when they explode over the ship :notnice: .

I'm transistioning from supporting microsoft apps like Exchange to becoming a Peoplesoft administrator for my company, Printpack. Good opportunity for me as we're just now installing the software so I get in on the ground floor with lots of training. Prior to IT I spent 7 years in the Navy as a nuke submariner; a boring, frustrating, and thankless job that still managed to be pretty cool most of the time. The wife's a pharmacist and makes as much as I do while working half the hours. Oh yeah, I'm also going to school to get an economics degree and have 2 kids so no money for mods. I figure I'm fortunate just to have the car really.

Jason
Peoplesoft . . . . . you have my sympathy

I am a political consultant and sometime Senate staffer. Neither pay as well as you might think if you're not in it for the money first. Of course, if you are then you're buying an AMG 55 and not a Mustang - it's amazing what some folks will take for their soul.

I feed my pony with selling paintings and fine art (www.artist-company.de). I think thats enough for 30 years on this planet.

I'm a Master Sergeant in the Air Force. I'm in aircraft maintenance-avionics carreer field. I'm currently stationed at Osan AB Korea with 3 months left on this unaccompanied tour. I'll return to Beale AFB, CA to my family and a new Mustang in November. I am currently associated with the F-16 fighter and will be assigned to the Global Hawk unmanned recon aircraft upon return to Beale.
I'm an active duty Technical Sergeant in the Air Force stationed at Beale AFB, CA. I've been in for 11.5 years now. I started out in Aircrew Lifesupport and then moved on to spacesuit maintenance for the U-2s. I've been an instructor for the last three years here at Beale. I am a full time student, just finished my BS in computer science and started my Masters in Education. I work part time at Autozone to pay for the mods on my stang. The Irishman and I will probably see each other in passing. (mineral grey GT bullit wheels)

Thanks for your service!! :flag2:

Loved those U-2's. Back in the mid-70's they used to take off from the NASA facility on Wallops Island, VA.

And someone forgetting to put up the radhaz signs topside when they're testing out fire control radar.

"Hey OOD, why am I feeling all tingly inside?"

I'm an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) for an Ambulance Service here in Los Angeles County. My current assignment is working on an ambulance that responds with LACoFD on 911 calls.

Since the topic of this thread was 'how do you pay for your pony'...well I forgot to add that my car is paid off already..
