page 20?????
OOPS---OSU beat me to the punch.
Seriously, there are still some legit questions and issues being discussed in this thread, even at this late stage. Keep it alive until it fades away naturally....

Keep it going? Why? All the questions were answered long ago, so long ago that everybody keeps rehashing the same stuff over and over.
It doesn't have anything to do with an injunction. IUP will be back to normal by Februrary at the latest. It was a supply issue....anything else?

[It would REALLY be helpful if Ford gave more direction and info, to the dealers and the consumers.]
Not criticizing you; serious question and curiosity. Thx.

I check my order status virtually daily; it's had the "compatibility error" for last several days. Today, it says as of 12/20 I'm clean and unscheduled!! Dare I hope to think that they're working through the IUP problems and updating orders accordingly??

I would agree that there is still alot of confusion, but what stands out to me is there is no information from any new source about an injunction to stop selling MyColor. Something of that nature in regards to a high-profile car like the Mustang would definitely make the news IMO. There are also people getting schedule build dates for late January with IUP. While there isn't anything conclusive that points to inventory problems, there's enough circumstantial evidence to make that assumption.

I've been getting the compatability issue message when I call VOPC. Tonight, I got "as of Dec. 21st, your vehicle is clean and unscheduled, it has not been serialized at this time". Hmmm, what could this mean? Why did the status change? Inquiring minds want to know!

This is good to hear. Sounds like Ford is doing the right thing by allowing IUP orders to go back on material hold rather than forcing orders into "incompatible" limbo.
So as we round out page 20, it seems the only question left is when will IUP orders start getting scheduled in volume again. And even there it looks like everthing is pointing to early February.
Question to MODERATOR: What's the largest page count we've ever had on a single thread?

Just called Automated Vehicle Status System. As of 12/16 my order contains a compatability error. The order cannot be scheduled until the error has been corrected. Guess I'll call the dealer Monday and try and get their interpretation.

Well I'm back to clean/unscheduled so I'm hoping that's good news

My car a - GT with IUP -was ordered December 9. I have been told that it will be built in February, and that no IUPs will be available in January.

If true, then it's clearly a supply issue. This is the first indication we've seen as to the duration of the IUP holdup (i.e. only through January, production resumes in February).
As for "...no IUPs will be available in January...", as noted above, some of us with IUP orders have been given build dates of the weeks of January 3 and January 10. Although week of January 10 is the latest I've seen noted on TMS.
Please clarify. Thanks. [/b][/quote]
I still have a build week per VOPC line of Jan 24th with IUP.
skeptical...........
