What idiots! The feature's operation is described in detail in the owner's manual. I don't think tech support may be up to date. I'd print this entire topic and show it to the dealer. If your car has the active anti theft, the feature should work. Good luck!

Sound like the perfect roadtrip for my new vert. Now if I could just convince Ford to push mine to the head of the list.
