Something also tells me that the Challenger isn't going to be all that fast. If you read the SRT8 Challenger press release it mentions sub 14 second 1/4 mile times which probably means it's closer to 13.5-14 vs 13-13.5 seconds. If that's the top dog (SRT is like SVT) then I don't see the Challenger being much of a threat. I could be wrong but the performance numbers at the press intro really weren't anything to brag about which really makes you wonder.

Oh ya... the Challenger isn't out yet either so unless your talking about in Detroit there really aren't a lot of Challenger vs. Mustang races going on.

Great looking package that presents the car well. Does anyone know if some of the parts from the V-6 appearance package will be available from Ford parts departments (eg: Hood scoop, stripe kit, etc.) as individual pieces?

haha, this is MY car. i bought it july with this appearance package. i get looks left and right riding around in this.

 

My next door neighbor bought one of our '08 Mustang V6's with the appearance package. Vapor Silver and it looks so much nicer than my "plain" Alloy Gray GT.
