Parts like that you will want to be immovable. Large front bolts, 110 ft-lbs with red lock tight. Smaller rear bolts 95 ft-lbs with red lock tight. Bolts that hold the A-arms to the k member 150-200 ft-lbs with red lock tight. Motor mounts to engine bolts 40 ft-lbs with blue lock tight, motor mount to k member bolts 100 ft-lbs with blue lock tight.

Your car is hydroboost and 94-95 are not. That being said, you can still use your brakes just fine. Just don't change anything in the brake system.

Isn't the mustang 5.0 the same as the cougar 5.0?

The 4R70W behind your V6 will bolt to a 5.0. The 4R70W from a 4.6 will not. The V6 and 5.0 have the same bolt pattern

Thought the auto transmissions in the v6 and v8 of the same year were the same. Why the difference in transmissions? Is it like that for the newer models too?

No. The 3.8 is based off of the windsor 5.0, it's basically just a 302 with the number 3 and number 7 cylinders removed. the newer 3.7 is an all new engine that shares the bolt pattern with the 4.6 and coyote 5.0. When a company builds a transmission they first design the main body of it with the gears, clutches, and so forth, then they have the bellhousing that is different for each engine family.
