What did you do with your Mustang today?
Sorry to see the blemishes on brand new wheels, Cavero. For the prices they charge, you need to demand satisfaction in the product.
While searching Ebay last week, I found some "new old stock" dash overlays from Steeda in ebony black. They were from 2008, but the 3M adhesive was still strong, and even the adhesion promoter sticks were still usable! The acrylic domed finish looked like it had some heat or age-related tarnishing; I got out my Klasse All-in-One acrylic polish and buffed out the finish-
The upper corner has been corrected, with the remainder waiting to be restored...
...All ready for installation!
The radio surround and the center console now have a gloss black accent--
Now to get out and do some cruising while the weather cooperates!

Drove it for the first time in a month! We had a lot more snow than normal all through Feb and now it's finally warm enough and we've gotten enough rain to wash off the roads.
Also got some Magnetic style wheels from American Muscle, 1st new wheels I've got since I bought the Konig's off someone here in 2008. Not sure what I'm going to do with the old 18"ers, might try to sell them, maybe save them for track days.
Opened up the boxes this morning on the AMR wheels and found some paint defects. Some are specks trapped in the clear, and one is a small fisheye. The specks don't really bother me but the fisheye does. Going to try to get an exchange but I've heard bad things about their customer service. Weird thing is it's only on the 19x8.5's. The 19x10's look fine.

Finally took the car out yesterday. It was fantastic to get on the road again after a long winters sleep. Put about 50 miles on her and enjoyed every minute. Thought I would do the same today, but Nooo. When I got ready to leave noticed a big scary black bank of clouds rolling in from the west. Opted for the daily driver instead. Good thing we got hail, gropple, and a down pour of huge rain drops. Did not last too long but put down lots of water.
Rest of the week is supposed to be rain free, sunshine, and 54°+ so it won't sit too long.

Too bad for the issues, I like the wheel style. looks pretty close to the Laguna Seca Boss wheels. Hope they get you fixed up.

Thanks, American Muscle responded asking if I wanted a exhange or return (opted for the exchange), haven't heard from them since Saturday though. I might give 'em a call tomorrow if I don't hear anything today.
Over here it's 70 (it was 40 a week ago), definitely driving with the windows down.
Mild temps and light cloud cover made for a great day to take the top down and enjoy a drive! I went south to the neighboring town of Middletown, OH. and found an abandoned Sears loading dock area. Looked like a good place to capture some pics in an impromptu industrial/gritty photo shoot:
I used my Galaxy Note 9 phone's camera, and edited with PhotoScape X.
Highlight of the drive: while I was stopped at a traffic light, a technician in a work truck next to me hollers, "Hey man, sharp looking car!"
It was a good day

I installed a set of 2010 grilles on my prior '05 Mustang; they tended to pop off their mounts if the door was closed too hard, since the tabs didn't line up. I also added tri-bar pony stickers just to see what it would look like--

Today I got to bring together the Mustang I used to own and my current Mustang! I sold my 2005 GT convertible (the one without the white stripes) two years ago to a neighbor, and he brings it to me every so often for detailing (I have a detailing business in my garage). This was the 1st time I had my "new"(to me) '06 Mustang in the stables with its predecessor; we had an impromptu car show/cruise-in/photo shoot right in my driveway, with my son's Camaro trying to photo-bomb in the background!
