Looks like a very nice turnout I love that red Mach 1! Couldn't make it this year thanks for posting.
Lots of sweet rides there. Is the yellow one in the third pic down a Nash Rambler? And the yellow one in the next to last pic,is that one of the new mid engine Vettes?
Got the front springs done today, she's all nice and low now.Something just occurred to me...when I was in the auto parts store getting the spring compressor yesterday, that old classic song "Low Rider" was just coming on the radio when I walked in,what are the odds.First time I heard that one in many years
Anyway, here's some new pics of the lowrider, and a shot of the third brake light sticker. It doesn't look nearly as bad in person as it does in this close up pic

Yes that is a mid engine Vette. I don't remember if that was a rambler or not but I do remember that it was a drag racer.

I agree, I would probably take any of the cars that were there it was a nice showing since they didn't have it last year. Funny thing was that there was another show about 10 miles away in the town I grew up in Tremont Pa. The next day. Wife said no lol have to keep the boss happy.
Replaced the sway bar link that I broke last weekend while changing the springs
I dunno if this is common knowledge to those with lowered cars, but I was planning to drive the car up on blocks so as to have clearance to get the jack under it.Eventually I planned to get a low jack. Then I realized there's just enough room to get my cheezy little jack in front of the tire and put it under the radiator support. At first I wasn't gonna try it cause I I didn't know if it was strong enough to lift the car,but upon closer inspection,it looked plenty beefy.Worked great

Um lol don't know if I would do that but glad to hear it worked out for you I would just try not doing that again. Hate to see the jack cost you a radiator or something along those lines. Glad to hear that you got the sway bar fixed and hope that it fixed the problem with the car being loose.

I was really expecting it to be flimsy, but I noticed it was actually reinforced and quite thick steel there.I dunno, maybe it wasn't even the radiator support, maybe it was actually a frame crossmember
I kept a close eye on it after every 3 or 4 pumps to make sure it wasn't moving or being crushed

Finally got my 18 intake manifold installed. Runs fine normal driving. Still gotta install my VMP tune and test it out. Pretty easy swap.
And a little something to beat the Louisiana heat!!
