How'd you do the tint on the "third eye"?I plan to do mine with one of those ebay tints that have the pony symbol in it,or writing,such as "mustang" ,or the ford script
Well I am kind of a cheapskate when it come to little things like tint on lights or smoked lights. There are a few ways to go you can use regular window tint which is kind of frustrating some times or if you are pretty good at using spray cans you can pick up some spray tint for lenses at a auto parts store. The spray is the easiest but it will run real easy if you try the old i am going to just load it up method. I would use the spray if you are going with letters or a logo. You can put them where you want spray it then let it dry real good and the peal the letters off. Oh yeah watch out when you buy the spray though there is a peel coat one they have out there also.

I removed the Ford splash guards; I don't really travel in rainy conditions or on gravel roads. They do blend pretty well with the Roush rocker panel fascia, but I think I'll see how it goes sans splashers! Before: guards on ...And now they're off
What say you, friends? Should I leave them off, or reattach them?

my vote would be to keep them off. It looks less like a truck that way.
They look better without, however, you never know when you'll come across road construction projects. Therefore, I would keep them on to minimize the risk of getting stone chips onto the painted surfaces
This is true, what I did was put some clear film they make to protect paint and things on vehicles on the bottom. You have to look real close to even notice it. Glad I did to because like
m05fastbackGT said road work I ran into some fresh oil and chips situation the other day and was cringing the whole time, you never know. Its personal preference. When I bought mine it didnt even have them on any more so that why i went the film route. Pretty easy to come off to if you dont like it.

Looks a little naked without something... Those you took off were really big though and it does look better without them. I like something there that will keep away the rock chips. My 2014 came with a small OEM version installed. Here are a couple photos of the OEM versions that came on the 2014's. Maybe you can find a pair of these?

Thanks for this option, Shaney! I'm thinking that these might be a good compromise for a splash guard, as the rocker panel fascias give that little extra girth at the bottom of the car; the splash guards help continue it on the back side of the wheel well. I also really like the PPF idea from Jaryd21, so there's some new fun work to be done for those rear quarter panels!

Just put in my order for a set of 2007-09 GT500 splash guards from good ol' ebay. Should have them by next week, and we'll see what comes of this adventure!
Yes that's what I meant but the old ones making it look like a truck. They just looked long. The smaller ones like you ordered and that shaney has are the ones I would put on mine if I were to put some on. Not so bulky or long.
