Met a modded Subie wrx. Didn't realize all that suspension work makes such a difference on our cars. Was shocked and so was he lol. He also said it was the best sounding mustang he's heard. I smiled.

Suspension mods can really wake up a car.
After my new UCA and CHE axle brace, I find that I really have to try to spin.

Changed out the plugs in the girlfriend's Shelby this morning ...
Looking at the "slight" difference in the gap, I'd say she was due, huh?
Took the car for a brief spin and she already felt more awake ... looking forward to seeing what the GF says.

Plus, tomorrow we're going to have it re-tuned

Just bought a tune, Steeda G-Trac brace, and whiteline trans bushing.

Looking forward to some wrench time next week.

I'm getting one of those bushings too ... what's involved in installing one?

I have a simpler question: what's the purpose of the "trans bushing", and why upgrade the stockers?

Selling tomorrow, appt for smog in the morning. On the way to work I almost got side swiped by a ranger - had to swerve into the next lane to avoid him trying to move into my lane, almost rear ended a Prius that cut me off going about 10mph slower than me, and as soon as I pulled into the parking garage at work, the CEL came on again. Lol but dammit if she doesn't look mean still...

Going from memory, you have to drop the transmission crossmember and then the bushing just slips into the trans mount. Looked like it could be done in 5-10 minutes if you don't have to scrounge for tools.

It's supposed to limit transmission movement at higher RPMs. I have a V6, so it's really not a huge issue, but for $35 I figured why not give it a try and see how it works. It's something I wanted to have installed when I eventually get an MGW shifter anyways.

Oh, and to clarify on the Whiteline insert, it just goes inside the stock trans mount, it doesn't replace anything. The stock mount has a lot of open space inside so a lot of movement is allowed, and this fills those spaces.

Not a replacement, just augments the stock mount.
