Wow, I didn't know the KR shifter was actually different from the GT500. Aren't they both Tremec pieces though?

The tranny's the same, but the KR shifter has stiffer bushings and a slightly shorter throw, and for less than $90 for the part, it was a steal!

There was a guy in the 2014 Build and Delivered thread that ordered a 14 GT with the standard 18d and didn't realize it didn't come with a STB. He sourced a used one for like $98 shipped, so you won't get much for it but there's definitely a market for it...

Ran into an SN95 today that ran 650 to the rear wheels on a 2V 4.6L. I was highly impressed. So what I did with my Shelby today was see how close he was to my wheel HP. He was close.

Had a guy at the gas station ask me if the Mustang outside was mine, then he started talking about his turbo '02 SS that "annihilated Cobras".

I went with the Steeda because it was black and had the double bar. Thought it would blend better with my engine bay.

I guess it depends on if you want it to blend in or stand out.

Chris thanks for the info. I have mixed feelings about the double bar look now. Some folks think it looks cheap (my wife said it looks like a bicycle frame), and some say it's not as rigid as the single solid bars. So I dunno. I already ordered the boss and the more I look at it the more I like it.

For me, I think I will plastidip it black, like this:

Burton, that should look good, but will it clear the blower?

Also, where did you order it from?

CJ Pony Parts had it on sale recently for $79.99 with free shipping ...

Yeah cj. But it was on sale only for 99.99. how soon was the 79.99. Will they still match it? Other places have it for 180 bucks. Crazy.

It should clear the blower... A few folks I saw that said it clears the Maggie specifically.
