Heh, I'd be pretty tempted to do the same.

Well it only has 119 miles on it so I guess they figure they can ask more for it. Still too much as you said but very nice.

$16,999 is a good price with only 119 miles. But seeing as the reserve hasn't been met I wonder what it is . . .

18300 now, still not met. I'd give that for it, and just start driving it. The sticker was 29K, I'd say they're looking for that, or more.

Yeah! Mine has 36K, and I figured I could get about 13-13.5K if I were to sell.

I bid on it, got the high bid so far. Reserve still not met, lol. I'd go another $1K just for the fact that it is basically a new car. And I'd drive the **** out of it, well not drive the **** out of it, but I would use it as pretty much a daily driver, it should be a fun car that would last a long time and would be a nice conversation piece at cruise ins because of the low miles.

Trust me I was worried about my head (the big one) too. NEVER EVER thought I'd try it again but I'm gonna.
Well when we both are starting out again from scratch there ain't much to lose in this day and age.

For someone around my age (30) who has wanted one ever since they first came out, but couldn't afford it because they were too young, this is basically a second chance to live that dream that you thought was long gone.. Cool car.

This is perfect. I'm guessing reserve is about 24,000. What do you think it's at Lee?

I wouldn't be surprised if its over 30K, considering what they paid for it (sticker was over $29K) and what they probably think its worth. Not to mention what it has cost them to keep it for all these years. They just bet on the wrong horse. Not that it isn't a great car, but its not a Cobra and that's what brings the money these days.

I bid well over $18K on it and was willing to go another $1K above that. By the time I checked it again it was up to almost $20K and that was farther than I had decided to go. I'd love to have it, but I'm not going to poop out money for it. IMO, its worth $20K max (actually not even that, but to a Mustang guy it probably is). When you get past that you're going in the hole badly. For me and the way I was thinking of it, it might be worth that. I was thinking of driving it most everyday and that car would last a long freaking time. I was seeing it as a really nice car to drive a lot and for a long time as transportation. And as a conversation piece. Not a collectible to be put in a garage and not driven.

As far as parking it as an investment, it would be a **** poor thing to buy IMO unless you were planning on living for about 50 more years and that isn't going to happen for me, lol, I'll be lucky to make it 10.

I was surprised when they took the reserve off at that price. Yeah, it was probably worth that to the right person (Mustang guy, low miles car guy), but financially it was worth nowhere near that. I think book value was around $14k , lol. But that doesn't really reflect a car like that.

I was pushing my limit of good conscience by going as high as I did, but only reason I did was because I looked at it as a new car that I could drive for many, many years.

I hope the buyer is happy with it and gets some use out of it. The seller, I feel sorry for. I understand that they thought it would be a good investment back then. They crapped out. The car was $29K and they had to store it and insure it for 13 years and never got to drive it. They lost their **** on that deal.

Can't imagine doing that with a car and taking a loss like that. What a dumb-***.

Guns N Roses last night. I was never really a fan of them but DANG they put on a hell of a show. Really wasn't expecting them to play and sound that well. The band was phenomenal and Axl did a great job as long as you don't look at him. Pretty rough. If any of you were ever fans of them I highly recommend the show. Played a good 3hr set.
