My wife was in a bad accident yesterday with our boys. A guy came into her lane and they hit head on. Since the weather was bad and everyone was driving slower than normal, it was a relatively low-speed impact, but still. Had to be scary. They are all Ok, and so is our baby who is only 13 weeks. Chuck (the Freestyle) may not be Ok. The bummer is Chuck is/was our family vehicle big enough to legitimately carry our family that will soon have 3 car seats. I've never been through a "total loss" claim before. (I have State Farm) Hopefully they offer us enough to replace it with something we need.

I am now a HUGE believer in big (safer) vehicles.

Glad the family and future family are all ok. That weather does look pretty nasty.

I'll second the flex idea! They're super nice with plenty of room.

So glad everyone is ok! I'm sure she's feeling it a little more today. It's always worse the next day. I hope you get things settled quickly with the insurance company.

I'm thinking they can fix Chuck and make him as good as new. The frame is still out there looking fairly square in the photo.

Hey guys is $87 a year a good deal for Sirius satellite radio? My mom just signed up for it and I don't have it on any of my cars. :-)

Sounds tinny on our Fusion radio. I just use pandora or Iheart radio from my phone. If you have Bluetooth or a cord it's much cheaper and sounds better.

She doesn't have any of that stuff but it does sound good in her car. I saw there was another thread started about this so back to the regular stuff!!! :-)

It's official. Chuck is a total loss. They are going to get back with us about an amount. Great news, they're gonna pay for new car seats! Lol! We went and looked at a 2010 Volvo XC90 3.2 FWD today. Nice car! Definitely considering it.
