I had a dream last night that I was sleeping and I was awoken by a noise.
I got the back door and it's wide open. I notice the fridge is open and the pantry door. Then I notice raccoons eating all my food. I was appalled. Then one of them looked at me and said "**** off hoser!" And went back about his business.
Wonder what that means?

I remember once as a teenager having a cartoon dream
Everyone was a cartoon including me
I also used to have a recurring dream about dying in a one car accident on a long bridge in a red car. This was when I was a teenager also. I wouldn't buy a red car and then I finally have up and bought one when I was about 37 I think.

I don't know, I feel like doing something like that to a classic car ruins it's originality, but to each his own.

I ask my customers "Are you building it for yourself, or someone else?"....That determines what you do...if you are worried about value and originality then you are building it for someone else....if you do what you want for yourself then it doesn't matter...although today properly done restomods are bringing more money than originals...
If what you like is original then by all means go that route...it's all about what the owner likes/wants...

This is true...most original restored cars rarely get driven....The Boss 302 I have has been owned for 12 years and not driven for the past 6...he got fed up with the carb and issues with an old car that isn't driven often...in 12 years he might have put 1500 miles on it...and the thinking is what is the point in having it so we are going to do tasteful upgrades and drive the wheels off it

I want badly to build an award winning level of 32 Roadster. I've drawn up some ideas and if I can execute the way I want, it'll do just that. But best believe I'm not going to spend that kind of money and trailer it everywhere. That car is going to get the hell driven out of it, and it'll be made to drive. Hidden components for shows to make it super sleek that come out when it's time to go for a drive.
A Man Just Needs Some....
I've been looking. I'm thinking direct bolt up mustang II front end and a 4 link with a narrowed 9". I would really prefer something that accepts hub bearing assemblies over one piece hub/rotors though. Pretty sure I got time to think about it though. 67 Malibu or a 65 riviera are both on my wish list too. Something about that Riviera front end just grabs me every time I see it.

That goes for the first gen mustangs also. People want that old car but the reliability and comfort of their daily driver. Just can't beat a restomod even though I don't always agree with what is referred to as restomod. Most of them are just customs. Big block, big brakes, and air ride is not restomod to me. Just me 2cents.
