Can't really say I'm surprised. This Olympic games is going to be a farce. Hotels and facilities not ready in time, massive budget overages and embezzlement, supplies running in short, not to mention the massive stray dog problem they seem to be having, and potential security issues.
You're killing me, Sochi! 10 minutes in the opening ceremony for a screw up!

A falcon would be pretty slick
A Man Just Needs Some....
Yeah me too but a tricked out falcon would be a really nice different car to see. The drawback is there's not much engine choices for a swap in a Falcon. Pushrod 302 just won't cut it. 4.6 2V not exciting. Coyote too difficult to make fit. SVT motors just cost way too much to consider. LS swap in a falcon is just plain wrong.
LS swap in a nova is just cheap and simple.
Thinking I will go for the Nova but keep my eyes out for a dirt cheap Falcon for a later date.

On another note. I spent the morning cutting and sanding pinewood derby cars for my little one. I could play with these things all day. I was never in the scouts but the pinewood cars looked so fun when I was a kid. Glad I at least get to build them now. Lol

If I did a Falcon I'd probably put in a bored and stroked 351w. Probably a roller motor like an F4TE motor I put in the Bronco then completely bolt ons and an EFI setup.
I'm sure you'd have to have a modified hood maybe even a cowl because of the deck height though.

I'd say you're spot on. Plus you're a Chevy guy anyway. If I did a Falcon I'd probably put in a bored and stroked 351w. I do like a few Ford bodies but I'm not a fan of their motors unless SVT built it. There was a 55 Ford customline on eBay that I would have killed for.

heh, super swamped lately. I'd been struggling in one of my design drawing classes for a while, so this semester i cleared my schedule and spend 5 days a week on campus just working on homework/classwork. Usually im only at home when the sun is down. car stuff has slowed for a while since I don't have time to work much during the semester. though I am looking into getting a stud welder so I can finally pull out the dents in the bullitt's floor and maybe get ready to sell it.

So do I. 5:15 on a Friday, I get loaded down with half a dozen more tax returns to do. Meanwhile the other accountant I'm working with has decided to leave early and not be at work tomorrow. Not only am I'm picking up her slack to start with, now I've got even more of it to do. There's a reason CPA stands for Certified Public Alcoholic. Too much work, too little time, NO sunlight!
