I hated chrome when I tried it. I always use firefox, I have about 3 different ad blockers and I never see any ads. I also never see any of the crap on facebook, like the suggested friends, games, or recommended pages

Chrome fits how my brain works. I love how all the tabs and bookmarks are set up. Plus it just does stuff I want it to do without freezing or doing something stupid. Plus there's no clutter. IE is so beyond cluttered it isn't funny. And Firefox is just annoying.

Curious - how is ie cluttered? Did you add everybody's toolbars or something? 
I have the browser bar up top with the various tabs in the same line. Then I display the Menu bar just so I can open files and tools at any time. That's it. 2 lines. That could be just 1. TMS takes up the rest of the screen. There is no clutter.
I'm not defending Billy Gates or anything
it's just I haven't seen any advantage with F & G.

Why don't you go lick a light socket or something? 
Haven't used it in years, but there were so many different menus, and what not. It looked like it was from the 90s or something. I just like chrome, and it does everything I want it to do the way I want it to, so I'm happy.

Are we getting hit with a solar blast or something? Dish has frozen twice this afternoon needing a reboot, and now the internet is acting slow and choppy.
