Man oh man, it kills you to hear about news of dumb people driving their prized possessions with a wreckless abundance & the end result is a wrecked sports car, and sometimes even more damage than that. In Menomonee Falls, WI a 35-year old man had way too many beers at a barbecue when all of a sudden he felt the “need for speed.” He then decided to give his friend a ride in his brand new Ford Mustang Boss 302 Leguna Seca edition, which is basically a street-legal race car(440 horsepower, along with an adjustable racing suspension system, only 750 made).
So while showing off the new set of wheels, the driver is smashing through the neighborhood side streets going close to 70 mph… then lost control. The end result of this drunken joyride was the fool jumping a curb, hitting a parked SUV, and finally resting on the side of a tree. While the driver was unharmed, his buddy suffered a compound fracture in his right arm(OUCH!!!), and the Mustang(pictured above) got the worst of the accident. The Boss 302 lost the driver’s side door, a few broken wheels, and a lot of other cosmetic damage. Oh yeah, the drunk driver has hit with a DUI & a reckless driving charge, which would land him in jail for 2 years & also face a $2,000 fine.
**** the fine & jail time, this guy just deserves a good ’ol ***-whoopin’ for destroying a beautiful & rare performance machine. It ain’t cool drinking & driving to begin with, especially when you have a lot at stake… like owning a one-of-a-kind sports car that very few can get their hands on…
