Haven't really worked things out yet, but I'm thinking about going up into Canada and Alaska for 6 or 8 weeks this summer, not sure yet. Have to see how it works out, but I'll definitely be hitting the coast for a month or so in the fall too.

You can do that too, just have to sacrifice a bit, do without, and tell the ol' lady to postpone her unimportant **** like mani pedi hairstyle ****. Put that money to use. In a few years, you'll be amazed at how far it goes.

We just bought into a Disney vacation club timeshare thing because they all love it so much. Hell I love it too. So we will be going there at least once a year. I usually go to Biloxi for the cruise without them every year so that's my vacation. Lol

I avoid timeshares like the plague. You would be better off buying a condo somewhere on the coast. Of course you have to look at the association fees and factor them in. Then rent the place out through a good agent in the area. You'll make most of your year's money in the spring break months and mid summer (4th of July), then rent it for lower amounts to Yankees by the month during the winter months (Dec-Mar). The snow birds eat that **** up.

Well this one is already paid for except for the yearly fees. Figure it's a good way to enjoy some real family time every year. Kids are getting big quick and my *** is getting old quick. Condo on the coast will be in a few years. Would like to do it just to let my mom go whenever she pleases. Waiting for Biloxi to really start rebuilding. A lot closer and even the bama coast water isn't clear enough for me to enjoy anyways.
