We got our tree Sunday. It's up but I haven't put lights on yet. December 2nd is kind of late here. Most of the trees were gone or had sold tags on them. I ended up having to get a bigger tree that cost more.

Most of that was during my six month of 12hr night shifts. It has slowed WAY down since I got back home and have a "social" life again.
It would probably be a lot more if more folks were on while I'm at work during the day. I only check it once at night on a typical day.

That's just part of the college experience....
Some are worse than others....I drank and also being the entreprenuer, made good money hosting off campus parties. I guess I was the smart one...never got arrested and made it to 2007 without any kids(that I know of).

In all seriousness...I look back on my college days and think "Man I had it easy then!" but back then I thought it was hard....time and experience change perspective.
