And I thought it was bad I just dropped and broke a 7# tub of ketchup on the kitchen floor.

Watching Cops and they rolled up on a guy that was breaking into a car, and he was still sitting in it with the window busted out when they got there. He told them he wasn't taking anything, he was just sitting in there to protect it in case someone else tried to steal stuff out of it.

Dang freaking deer! They're still everywhere! The should be down in the lower farm country by now but I guess the rain and lack of freezing temps has them confused.
First I dang near roll the Cruiser and tore the mirror off dodging one on Wednesday, last night one jumped in front of me at the last minute in my F150. I heard a loud clunk like skull to bumper and although I did hit the brakes, I didn't bother steering onto the shoulder. That's only the 2nd deer I've ever hit in my life. I usually catch their eyes on the side of the road.
At the gas station I checked and not a dent or even a mark. Gotta love chrome steel bumpers!

I woke up around 4:00am hearing some noise last night. Walked out the back door to the driveway and 20' from me in my yard was a beautiful buck in the light fog. Good size for this area and probably 12 point rack.
We just stood still watching each other for about 5 seconds and when I finally moved he took off like a deer.

That's one of the reasons I hate driving my car at night. Horrified I'll hit one. See them all the time.

I know it's much worse there. You have more trees and they are closer to the roads and highways. It's till a problem on the highways here because there's so little traffic at night.
I won't drive the R at night this time of year. Or Seven really unless it's city only.

Of course I've known people who have driven in rural subdivisions here in the daytime and had idiot dear run into the side of their car. One lady had antlers come in her driver side window while she was doing 25 down a street of houses.

Doesn't help that my light SUCK either. And you'll still get them in the city too. My aunt and uncle live in St. Paul and have all kinds of deer going through their yard all the time.
