Dang! It happened again! Racing over the pass to oncology (late as usual) and dang near got busted! The first one was a Blazer looking rig that had the low profile lights on top but clear plastic. The way the sun was shining couldn't tell until he was right on me. Thankfully I was behind a slow poke.
So after I finally get to a brief straight passing zone, I pass the slow poke. The passing areas are far and few between because of curves so I nail it in 3rd, run it up over 80 and get back over, slowing down toward 70 and around the curve is a sheriff patrol coming at me! Yikes!! Thanfully he didn't have his radar on (I think) cause he just kept going. Whew!
But that's like 8 or 10 close calls this summer. They are really partolling. Usually I set cruise to 62 and deal with it but its those quick passing times that I am vulnerable. I've been thinkin about it and finally sprung last night @ BestBuy $299.
I'm not in cities much so i didn't need the 9500 - plus they're too high and I really don't want any GPS trackin my ****.
Only got two false laser alarms leaving town but that was by the airport. Didn't get any other false alarms even driving by all the big box stores, a few banks and grocery stores.

Greenhorn update....Last night while at the dyno he sent me a text "Dad said I'll be taking off until further notice"
Today I hear that he blamed a girl over at the restaurant for texting him saying it was her fault he got in trouble....AND he told her I fired her.
OH to be a drama queen 16 year old who refused to take responsibility for his own actions. ....plus I never fired him, his father put a foot in his **** over his behavior.

The funny thing is at first I said "Have you ever seen Deadliest Catch?"...he replied OH YEAH! I then said "Good, you know what a greenhorn is!"
I'm guessing he just never really paid attention to that show...

Been busy around here. I've had friends here back to back, got the girls and it seems non-stop. I love my girls, but I could use a break. Should settle down when my friend leaves in a couple of days.
