idk where it's .8 but in NC it is .08....but if you don't think the breathalyzer is fair tell them you would like a blood test performed by an independent agency....they can't touch your license for denying to blow that way and it provides time for you BAC to go down...not to mention if you pass all other roadside tests some officers won't go through the trouble to perform the blood test...of course that's just here in NC.
There's also the issue where many departments don't clean and re-certify the breathalyzer before reuse. Many have been busted because of the false/pos from the residue from the previous drunk. As a result, many have had their sentence reduced by good attorney's over this issue.
The Legacy TMS Lady
Well I was kind of looking forward to having the house to myself for a couple of days while my hb and his daughter went to NC, but now they aren't going. His family is so ridiculous sometimes. We figured out they could fly to Charlotte for almost as much as it would cost him in fuel to drive, plus save the 7+ hours of driving each way. But his brother moaned and complained that he didn't want to chance driving to the airport in case it snowed. Granted, it's about an hour and a half drive, but he doesn't work so its not like he's busy doing anything. And he grew up here so it's not like he's never driven in snow before. Pains in the ***** I tell ya.
If my brother called and said he was coming to town, and asked if I could pick him up at the airport, I'd only ask him what time he needed to be picked up. I don't care how far it is.
